About SaveKit

SaveKit is a privacy-first social media downloader that helps people save publicly available content from platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, X (Twitter), and Reddit — without installing apps, creating accounts, or surrendering personal data.

Our Mission

We built SaveKit on a simple belief: saving content you legitimately want to keep — your own posts, a recipe video to follow later, a how-to clip for offline reference — should be fast, free, and respect your privacy.

Most existing downloaders bury users in pop-ups, demand sign-ups, or quietly harvest personal data. SaveKit takes the opposite approach. We process URLs in real time, never store user files, and run no advertising profiles or remarketing pixels.

How SaveKit Works

  1. You paste a public URL from a supported platform.
  2. We fetch the public metadata in real time on our servers.
  3. You download directly to your device — the file never sits on our servers.

We do not bypass logins, paywalls, watermarks, DRM, or any other access control. SaveKit only works with content that is already publicly accessible on the source platform.

What Makes Us Different

  • No accounts. No installs. Pure web tool. Works in any modern browser on phone, tablet, or desktop.
  • Privacy by default. No personal data collected. Analytics are anonymized through Cloudflare Zaraz (server-side processing). No third-party advertising trackers.
  • Open about limitations. When something breaks, we say so. When a platform restricts access, we explain it instead of pretending it still works.
  • 14 languages, one experience. SaveKit is fully localized for English, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Hindi, Arabic, Thai, and Russian — with right-to-left support for Arabic.
  • Real DMCA and copyright procedures. We respond to copyright holders through a documented takedown process, not a contact form black hole.
